Concert

Wow! Last night was something special. If you have not been to the Presbyterian Cantata you have missed out an extraordinary evening. The choir was fabulous and having an orchestra just made them more wonderful. The church was filled with red poinsettias and the crismon tree was gorgeous with the white decorations and white lights. I was in a down mood with so much going on and being so busy I wasn't even sure I wanted to go. I was in that place where I just wanted Christmas to be over. Then I walked into that church and the orchestra started to play Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire and Winter Wonderland and I could feel my heart warming. Before the evening was over I was in tears at the passion of the voices singing of the birth of the baby Jesus. I felt the presence of God in that room and I was changed. I can't wait for Christmas and I don't want it to pass quickly. I want to embrace these beautiful moments and on Christmas morning I want to remember the gift God gave me. Love came down in a manger and it that changed everything. As for me I am filled with love for my heavenly father, I am so blessed.
